Another day and more sexual harassment allegations.YAY!
So we’ve got a new list of perverts and they’ll be joined by some MORE – I’m sure – in the next 48 hours.
What a GREAT way to celebrate the holiday!
Thank you Lord that our honorable political representatives and esteemed journalists, who can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves and their parts in their pants… amen.
The… uh… latest members of the Harassment Hall of Shame are CBS news anchor Charlie Rose and US representative John Conyers.
Plus, as a BONUS!
We’ve also got a second accuser, coming forward in the Al Franken case.
There’s enough significance with Franken, that I’ve now had to make two effing videos, in the same week, about topic.
You can check out the Franken Episode on my YouTube channel. Made a LOT of double standard touting liberals, PRETTY grumpy at me.
So, the first one here, John Conyers, a fairly powerful democrat – not necessarily Al Franken-level powerful – he’s a representative, not a senator.
Turns out that… back in 2015, he settled a suit brought by one of his staffers.
She alleged that… uh… he fired her when she didn’t succumb to his sexual advances – claims he was harassing her and trying to… like… grope her up and stuff that.
This is is sexual harassment “DEFCON 2”, so not FULL alert, in the five progressive levels of harassment DEFCON.
There was an attempt at coercion, but he didn’t… like… he didn’t rape anyone or anything…
Wow! It’s come to this…
I suppose he should receive a liberal double-standard cookie, huh?
Plus, it was an adult, so… yeah… DEFCON 2 sort of stuff.
Oh… and I think that means liberals owe him a second cookie, right?
According to his accuser, I guess he pressured her for some time and then, he got bored with the the pursuit of and said, okay, “No happy ending for me, no happy ending for you – bah-bye. You’re fired!”
Any way you slice it, even though the libs will likely give him the double-standard pass, he an older dude – in his 60s – so… ya know… GAH-roos and TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE.
Now, when a settlement like that is made, usually it’s an indicator that there was some substance to the claims – in a legal sense, but there’s no REAL legal recourse beyond the settlement.
Know what I mean?
Here’s what I mean…
Legally speaking, you can’t really say, “Oh, but the the claimant got a settlement for this case, so that means there’s veracity – we should re-investigate you.”
But in the court of public opinion, it’s sort of like pleading the fifth, so as not to incriminate yourself.
You can’t be compelled to give the testimony… but… mmmmm… you’re basically admitting, “Yeah, ya know… if I did give testimony, chances are pretty damn high I’d either be in a cell or have my pants sued off me.”
…which might actually be what some of these pervs want – pantslessness, I mean.
It’s one of those paradoxical situations where… you’ve sort of screwed yourself, in terms of public opinion, by unscrewing yourself legally.
You… kinda… cut the head off the proverbial snake, but the body’s still there, stinkin’ up the joint.
Different story altogether if it were DEFCON 3 or DEFCON 4 stuff…
Like actual rape, or something with kids or with damning… ya know… physical evidence, like a photo or some video of something abusive.
Unfortunately… or fortunately… in our system, the rule is “Innocent until proven guilty – beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Don’t worry though, Conyers’ accuser was paid off for the sexual harassment suit, with $27K… in taxpayer money.
Isn’t that great?
So much to be thankful for!
Thank YOU government!
And moving on to the return of the Al Franken-stein monster…
We’ve now got a second woman who’s come forward and said, “Oh yeah, he was trying to grab my bod, making sexual jokes at me and stuff.”
At the same time though, he’s got all of his female celebrity friends, from Saturday Night Live, trying to shield him from… ya know… gettin’ kicked outa Congress.”
You, Sir, are RELIEVED OF DUTY!”
Like I said in my previous episode about Franken, I don’t know that it’s going to work though…
Ya know why?
See, the problem is, that attempted defense, is happening at the same exact time as a second accuser coming forward.
So, they’re firing shots at each other in the news, and unfortunately for Franken, metaphorically speaking, he’s in a stationary position, because he’s a high profile senator…
Whereas, any new accusers are able to kinda MOVE about freely and ultimately WEAKEN Franken and his defenders’ fortification.
It’s a SAD game of reputational attrition… No REAL way, in my opinion, for Franken to win it.
His defenders are eventually gonna weaken and that’ll be that!
And the BIG problem for the left is this…
I’ve seen like headlines recently… stuff like, “The Republicans risk becoming the sexual harassment party over judge Roy Moore”
Problem now, is nobody’s even talking about Judge Roy Moore at this point.
And strategically speaking , all the talk about “sex abuse” allegations is a HUGE problem for the left.
Ya see, for a very very long time, they’ve cast themselves as the party that “wants to protect women’s rights” and the so called “little people” who might get raped or abused or something.
“We’re the party of women’s rights.”
“We’re the party of victim’s rights.”
“We’re the party of reproductive rights.”
The party of, ya know, “You should be able to defend yourself in court, not with a gun.”
So, basically, the problem for them is that they’re really NOT equipped to effectively defend themselves against these kinds of allegations – giant SMAUG the dragon-sized chink in their proverbial armor!
When they do try to defend, it’s like Lena Dunham comes out and… ya know… has her spiel, and now she’s labeled a… “hipster racist” or something.
The only thing that they can really do is… ya know… kinda cop-out, like the Geraldo thing and say, “Well, this person’s my friend, so I’m not gonna weigh in.”
Or like with George Takei… “I’m not gonna talk about George Takei… ya know… yeah, we were constantly hanging out, but… uh… that’s a personal thing… ya know? Different… I don’t want to be part of it. Don’t ask me. Ask somebody else.”
And like with Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, who’s maneuvering, with her comments about all the Bill Clinton sex abuse scandals and the like…
I think politically, she refuses to defend Al Franken, ‘cause she can’t come out and say what she probably REALLY wants to say… something like, “Yeah… Al Franken can taking a flying…”
Forgot, I’m trying NOT to cuss as much.
‘Cause… ya know.. she knows she’d look bad, given the political position of the Democratic Party.
She ain’t crazy.
She’s not gonna defend him directly – NO WAY… NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
She knows even though she’s woman, it won’t actually help, just like with these ladies at SNL.
What’s gonna end up happening is, the people who are most vocal about “believe the victim” women’s rights and “don’t harass woman”… ya know… people who tend to be most vocal about that…
They’re gonna inevitably attack ANYONE, including ANY Democrat, regardless of their race, their creed or their gender, if they actually attempt to defend somebody who’s been, even merely alleged to have been sexually abusive.
So, again, my advice to Franken and the Dems is that he just go ahead and resign.
I said it a couple days ago and I’ll say it again.
Al… Mah bookie… don’t force them to remove you from your post in the Senate, Bro.
Don’t force them to write that inevitable, strong letter about what a piece of crap you are…
‘Cause you know and I know, that’s what they’re gonna be compelled to do – especially now with, NOT JUST ONE, but TWO allegations… and God only knows how many more coming!
And to be clear, I still fundamentally believe that people should be considered…
Problem with sexual allegations like this is pretty simple…
The immediate emotional reaction is defend the person who’s been… ya know… they’ve been sexually abused or harassed.
The immediate reaction that our society has begun to have is… I think… one that’s BASED on some sort of FEMININE phenomenon, similar to what actually DID happen in Salem Massachusetts, back in the 1600’s…
Something’s seen as MORALLY DAMNING – back then it was blasphemy and witchcraft, today it’s the mere POSSIBILITY of sexual abuse – and the next thing ya know… there’s a FRENZIED WAVE of “me too” allegations…
“She’s a WITCH…”
“She put spells on ME TOO…”
“She’s OF THE DEVIL…”
Not saying most of it isn’t happening…
I’m sure it is.
But we very quickly arrive at a place of “guilty till proven innocent”, rather than the other way around, which is how it’s supposed to be.
And, that’s the problem with the current reigning attitude of “everything’s offensive”.
Everything becomes evidence of some Russian or Nazi conspiracy.
There there’s no threshold that you have to achieve, in order to show that a person’s actually guilty of the accusations.
You can simply make the claim and it automatically sticks, as long as ONE thing thing they ever said or done seems like some sort of “proof”.
If anyone’s ever done business in Russia…
If they’ve ever learned to speak Russian in college…
If they they went to Moscow – once…
They’re automatically a KGB agent.
It’s these allegations, that people claim to be self-evident, but no nobody asks for any evidence – like nobody has asked for any real specific evidence in any of these sexual harassment cases.
That is troublesome, to say the least… know what I mean?
Here’s what I mean…
The left spent all of its time pretending to be a movement that’s concerned with women’s rights, and children’s rights, and victim’s right…
Whereas, the right was sort of linked with, “They get drunk and they harass their secretaries.”, sorta… ya know… the chauvinistic 50’s kinda thing.
Now we’re finding out that…
Uh oh Spaghettios!..
It’s actually “even Steven”…
You got just as much of that going on on the left, but nobody wanted to talk about it, because who woulda believed a couple years ago?
Sure, there were rumors that some on the left were perverted, but nobody wanted to talk about it.
And, by the way, I predict that there are a ton of rapacious and perverted females inside both movements as well.
We just haven’t heard about it yet, ‘cause it’s not as… “newsworthy”, at the moment.
Ya know… it’s a “woman”, not a greasy chubby man who’s doin’ it.
So, less “wrong” somehow.
Like with allegations in… like… schools… ya know?
If some female teacher is bangin’ young male students – people don’t react the same way they do if it was a male teacher doing the same thing with young female students.
Yet ANOTHER double standard.
Because the problem is, the message that that really sends is that a young MALE is somehow COMPETENT enough to make decisions about sleeping with someone in a power position, but a young FEMALE just CAN’T be trusted to make those kinds of decisions.
Fact is, if it’s WRONG for ONE GENDER, it’s GOTTA BE WRONG for both genders – plane and simple.
And look, I will not take further delight at the dilemna of the left, despite how tempting it is to crack the F up about how many of these people being accused lately are… like… Democrats or liberals.
They STILL should get their day in court.
They shouldn’t be subjected to a witch-hunt style lynch mob, which is unfortunately what they’ve been subjecting others to.
LIke when they say, “Well, this person’s a racist!” or “This person’s a bigot.”, without any ACTUAL proof.
The way I see it, there’s already enough lynch-mobbery going on, isn’t there?
My personal take is that this is almost… a… reaction to liberal way of operating.
It’s like they’ve created a false narrative that’s finally returning to roost, to GOBBLE GOBBLE them up, fork and knife in hand, as the MAIN course of this year’s HOLIDAY HARASSMENT BANQUET.
And THAT… is my take on the “sexual harassment turkey.”
We’ll call him Bob, not WISHBONE or DRUMSTICK!
Turkey’s don’t like those kind of names.
What was the White House thinkin’?
It’s kinda like naming a pig “BACON”.
Or calling your pet chicken, “BUFFALO WING”!
Come on, Whitehouse!
Happy Thanksgiving everybody…
And HAPPY black Friday… Good luck with that!
Oh yeah… and be sure to click like (or dislike if pissed ya off), subscribe to my channel, which is linked to in the text… and share, ‘cause ya know, I wanna keep doin’ this for ya!.
See ya in the comments… and YES, I try to respond.
